Job Title		Embedded S/W Performance/Power/Thermal Engineer

Location		South Korea - Seoul
Job Function		QCT is looking for software engineers to optimize Performance/Power software for end to end (e.g. Audio, Video, Graphics.and Data Thruput.etc) use cases. The job may involve some or all of the following tasks: Working with one or more of the following operating systems: Android and embedded Linux Defining use cases for measuring end to end, or low level performance Running use cases to measure and characterize performance metrics Writing or updating tools for measurement and collection of performance metrics Analyzing use case results to determine performance bottlenecks Documenting performance requirements, test scenarios, analysis, results, and comparisons Working with technology teams on removing performance bottlenecks from the software Debugging Performance issues on QCT or customer hardware in both QCT and customer software Participate in planning of future Performance measurement tools, key performance indicators, use cases
Responsibilities		Since this position requires continual interaction with Qualcomm customers, the candidate must have strong communication, written & interpersonal skills, high motivation, the ability to learn quickly, and must be a self-starter.
Skills/Experience		Good communication skills and to work with diverse teams from software and hardware development, systems, test, management, and customer support. Minimum 3 years experience Experience with embedded software (mandatory) Knowledge on embeded Linux Kernel/Device driver(Mandatory) Strong software engineering and programming skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Experience in Java, C/C++, Perl Experience in Linux system
Education Requirements		Bachelors in software engineer, electrical engineering or computer science , prefer Masters

We're looking for Graphics Project Engineers who will enjoy working directly with our customers to help design products with Qualcomm graphics and its associated software. This would involve working intimately with our customers to help with Integration of the graphics drivers Assist in design of UI Assist in graphics applications that help the customers differentiate Debug, analyze, and drive to resolution graphics issues to rapidly help customers commercialize their products
Responsibilities		You must have a strong knowledge of C and C++. You must be an experienced programmer, a good team player, and must have previous experience working on Googles Android platform.
Skills/Experience		You must also have the following experience / skills. Strong background in various 3D graphics user mode and kernel drivers OpenGL 1.0, OpenGL 2.0. Use of various OpenGL APIs for design of graphics application such as UI, games,etc. Performance Optimization of graphics drivers and applications. Software integration, and debugging on embedded targets. Strong Korean/English communication skills - able to understand and explain highly technical information in a clear and concise manner, champion customer requirement to QCT teams, and drive resolution of issues. Strong interpersonal skills Self starter Strong initiative. Professional experience in customer interaction as a technical support role as well as development work Knowledge of OpenCL, Graphics Shader design, 3D architectures, and modeling would be a plus.
Education Requirements		Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science. Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree programs are acceptable.
